Premium Pringles

Package designer Niklas Hessman created a conceptual design for a Premium Pringles line. Although this design is purely conceptual, it would be refreshing to see this on the shelves of grocery stores! Hessman states, “There is a need for this to compete with other brands and their eco-products like oven baked and farm chips.”

Original Pringles Packaging

Take a look at the original packaging and Hessman’s version; do you think the minimalistic, slick black & white design would catch your eye? As many brands tend to scream their product on shelves, it’s sometimes effective to keep designs understated.

Web Inspiration: G’Nosh

A brand can really come to life through an inventive and interactive website. G’Nosh, a line of gourmet dips from the U.K, sets the stage through a scroll-through & jump website; it includes colorful roll-overs, and handwritten messages that make this brand define itself in a fun and different way. What do you think about G’Nosh’s site?

Amazing Graffiti Hotel Room

How would you like to stay at a hotel that looks a little something like this:

The ‘Panic Room,’ as it is appropriately named, was created by the artist, Tilt for the Au Vieux Panier hotel in Marseille, France. This hotel actually invites artists and designers to use rooms as their canvas to create unique looks for five rooms. This room was divided in half; one side: completely left white, while the other side screams with color. In Tilt’s blog post about the experience, he says, ‘What I also wanted to show is that people can appreciate any type of graffiti, even the more basic, it’s just a matter of point of view.’

Every last detailed was covered, even the pen and cups on the desk, as well as the big divide on the comforter on the bed! We love how this Jekyll & Hyde effect balances the room out; imagine what it would feel like if the entire room was covered with bright graffiti. Do you think you could handle it?

Dissolvable Fruit Stickers

Take a simple, everyday item & routine and invent a way to enhance it. Scott Amron, an electrical engineer, found a way to change the way you wash your fruit. Those annoying label stickers now serve a purpose by turning into an organic cleansing produce wash when rubbed with water. There’s no need to peel off these stickers! The sticker cleans the fruit away from wax, pesticides, and dirt. We would love to see this great invention implemented in stores soon!
