Webb deVlam created a new package design for Bombay Sapphire that when it is picked up, the outside starts to glow and illuminate. Featuring illustrations by Yehrin Tong, this gin brand’s packaging is produced in electroluminescent ink that is conducted from a battery at the bottom. A hidden mechanical switched is then turned on when the packaging is picked up. The current then travels through the pathways of the drawing at different times and lasts for 18 seconds.
