To launch the first edition of TWELV magazine, editor Hissa Igarashi worked with fashion assistant Sayuri Marakumi to recreate Alexander McQueen’s iconic ‘Parrot Dress’…with 50,000 gummy bears. The dress took 3 weeks to make and was first formed out of steel wire and covered with a sheet of vinyl. 50,000 gummy bears were then hand glued to create a rainbow pattern-the result is unbelievable.
