Interactive Light Installation

Greeting to the SunĀ is an amazing light installation by architect Nikola Basic that efficently involves technology. It is a circular installation that has hundred of glass plates that have solar cells absorbing light during the day and then illuminating at night. The interactive experience also sets in by responding to Basic’s sound installation called Sea OrgansĀ within the area.

Daizi Zheng, a London-based designer, created a revolutionary idea to reduce energy and electrical waste: charging mobile phones by pouring soda into it. The phone has a chemical board that converts sugary drink enzymes to electrical power. This great idea could definitely take role in saving energy in the future. Piano Stairs

At the Wulin Plaza in Hangzhou, China, a stairwell installation was created to resemble black and white piano keys. When the keys are walked upon, the steps create keynote sounds. Imagine how fun it must be to walk up and down this flight of stairs!
