What if real birds could tweet? Latvian Independent magazine, IR, decided to create a keyboard covered with blocks of unsalted fat to attract real birds and create their own tweets on Twitter. This was to reinforce the magazine’s online presence and their principle that everyone has the right to be heard, including the birds struggling to survive in the winter. Their twitter handle was linked to @hungry_birds and created the microsite Birds On Twitter to promoted this experiment and to stream the birds live.
