One Second Every Day

1 Second Everyday – Age 30 from Cesar Kuriyama on Vimeo.

When Cesar Kuriyama turned 30, he quit his job in advertising and began to document his life through a series of one second clips representing each day. This video project is very similar to the 365 project, but Cesar states that he will be making these videos for the rest of his life. In his TED2012 talk, he explains, “If I live to 80, I will have a five-hour video that summarizes 50 years of my life. At 40, I’ll have a one-hour video of my 30s.” No music was added; just a small label at the bottom corner of the screen to indicate the day. This inspiring personal project turn quick moments into memories.
